A life remembered

Regan
Bernard Rioch

September 22, 1975 — July 1, 1997

He didn't need a destination, a plan, or a special occasion. Just good friends and somewhere to go.

His Story
01 / HIS STORY

The Regan we knew

Happy just
to be there.

Regan was kind to a fault.

He didn't have a bad bone in his body. If someone needed help, he'd give whatever he could without expecting anything in return.

He wasn't quiet or shy. Regan enjoyed laughing, talking, and being around people. But even with his outgoing personality, he was remarkably considerate of others.

He would ask before giving someone a hug. He would even ask an expectant mother if he could touch her belly to feel the baby kick. Those little moments showed how much he respected other people and their personal space.

Regan was the easygoing friend who was happy to go along with whatever everyone else wanted to do. Whether that meant playing video games, spending the evening together, or wandering the streets of Saskatoon late at night looking for something to do, he was simply happy to be included.

For Regan, the company mattered more than the plans.

Born in Watson, Saskatchewan, Regan grew up in Englefeld before moving to Saskatoon. He was a son, a brother, and a friend. Nicole and Brandon also held a special place in his life.

His time here was far too short, but the ordinary moments he shared with the people around him have become memories worth preserving.

This is the Regan we remember.

“For Regan, it wasn't about what everyone was doing. It was about who he was doing it with.”
